How to book an urgent appointment
When medically necessary, we will see patients the same day.
However, urgent implies that you need to be seen today and that you should be given priority over someone else.
Therefore, please respect this facility and your fellow patients by not requesting to be seen urgently when your problem could wait until the next appointment. These appointments should only be used for problems which cannot possibly wait.
If your problem cannot wait until even a same-day appointment, you may wish to consider:
looking after yourself at home
visiting a pharmacy to obtain advice and medication
using the minor ailments service (if eligible) for free at a pharmacy
going to the Minor Injuries Unit at the Royal South Hants Hospital
for a problem requiring very urgent attention, attending the Emergency Department
in an immediately life-threatening emergency, calling 999 (or 112) for an ambulance
