Seasonal vaccinations

You can use this service to book your COVID-19 and flu vaccinations at the University Health Service. If you are eligible for both, you can have them in the same appointment.

You can book now, and our seasonal clinics start on 1 October 2026. The appointment times you are offered will all be on or after that date.

Through this service you can book:

  • the flu vaccine, if you are aged 65 or over on 31 March 2027
  • the COVID-19 vaccine, if you are aged 75 or over on 31 January 2027

We will work this out for you from your date of birth on the next page.

Some people are also eligible because of a health condition that puts them at higher risk. We contact those patients directly with a personal invitation, so they are not booked through this service. You can tell us about a health condition on the next page and we will make sure you are on our list.

You must be a registered patient at the University Health Service to use this service.

Yes. If you are eligible for both, they can safely be given at the same appointment, usually one in each arm. This is what most people choose.

If you would rather have them on separate days, you can book two appointments instead. We will ask you which you would prefer.

Please email the vaccination team at vaccinations@unidocs.co.uk. They will be able to answer most questions.
