We have recently begun using patient's mobile telephone numbers to send them texts with information or to ask for replies to update our records.

So far, we have been sending texts reminding patients to update their home addresses when they move and also to ask for information about smoking status.

These texts are genuine and have been sent by us. You need only follow the instructions in the text to reply. There are no premium rate charges for your reply and you will only be charged a standard text fee by your network.
